ADDITIONAL VALUATION SCHEDULE AND RATES

Hitzfelder Moving's basic liability is $0.60 per pound per article. For example, if a table weighs 100 pounds and is damaged or destroyed, the maximum you could receive towards repairs or replacement would be $60.00. The payment for additional valuation must be made three days before the move, or the standard $0.60 a pound will apply.

OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL VALUATION

The following are rate schedules for replacement cost valuation. This valuation covers the cost of repair or replacement up to the item's value at today's market value. If you choose either the $250.00 or $500.00 deductible, the cost of repair or replacement would be less than the deductible. For example, if the total damage is $200.00 to repair and you took out a $250.00 deductible, you would receive no money. However, if the damage costs $300.00 to improve and you take out the $250.00 deductible, you would receive only $50.00 for repair or replacement.
